Fitness time Mon 16th Nov 2009
Well it's time for me to get my fitness up, so I can get myself back out on a motocross bike. Looks like I may need to purchase a mountain bike now so that I can go cycling again. Starting off slowly...
That's right, as of tonight I am determined to get fit...
So, it's come to me that I am so badly unfit. And for me to be able to get back onto a motocross bike and racing again, I must start getting myself into shape and cut out the smoking.
What did I manage tonight?
I managed to get myself outside on this cold night and took a fairly fast paced jog which took in total around 20 minutes. This amounts to roughly two laps around our local block. For a cool down, I did 25 pushups, 4 x 10 reps of situp. Like I said, I am starting off slowlying and going to build myself up...
This time I am determined...
I have tried so many times to get myself up to fitness so that I can effectively get myself back into motocross and racing again. This time I am determined to give up the smoking and pull myself into shape.
Here is the hardest part...
The smoking, well I am going to force myself to go to bed without having a cigarette before bed almost a nightly ritual but I am determined NOT to do it tonight.
Well, I think I blabbed on enough tonight. So I am going to take a shower and head to bed.
